Custodial Appreciation Day – We thanked our custodial staff for the first time on Custodial Appreciation Day for beautifying our school.  Even though it is their job, it was our job to be thankful for a dedicated group of men and women who work hard day in and day out to clean up after our messy little ones.  To show our appreciation, we created a bouquet of scratch-offs that was overwhelmingly appreciated with gratitude.  The smile on their faces was priceless and we hope to continue making them smile each and every day.

Hospital Care Package While You Wait – Your colleague is taking the day off to sit, worry and ponder in a hospital’s waiting room as their loved one receives medical attention.   What can we do? We are always thinking about what we can do to help and give during this time.  A really great idea is to prepare a “While You Wait” goodie bag with some of their favorite snacks, jokes, and magazines.  This means a lot to someone whose mind is occupied with everything else, but themselves.  This little care package sends a strong message and lets that person know that others are thinking of them.

Snack And Go – Finding the perfect gift to show your Principal or Assistant Principal how much you appreciate them for all of their kindness and leadership can be quite challenging. He also love fresh mozzarella!  Our assistant principal loves dried fruits, nuts, and yogurt. Knowing what they like helped us create a SNACK-n-GO package with their favorite food items. Speedy Recovery – The biggest question you might have for yourself after a little one has had surgery, is what can you get them to brighten up their day for a small period of time? Well… a cool idea is to gift wrap candy, a card and multiple gift cards in cellophane wrap.  Viewing all the goodies all at once can bring a smile to any kid’s face.  They have something sweet to eat, plus the gift cards will give them something to look forward to in the future!
