The Atlanta Zoo, located in Atlanta Georgia is a viewed as on of the finest zoological institutions in the United States. The zoo has over 1,000 animals from around the world. The Atlanta zoo is known for the Amphibian and Reptile experience and it has the largest populations of great apes. To cap off the experience at the Atlanta zoo, make sure to visit the giant pandas including Ya Lun and Xi Lun, a set of twins born to Lun Lun in 2016.



National Zoo

The National Zoo is located in Washington D.C.. The official name of the zoo is The National Zoological Park. It is part of the Smithsonian Institute and doesn't charge admission. The zoo is home to about 2,700 animals to 390 different species. About one-fifth of them are endangered or threatened. The National Zoo is best known for the Giant Pandas!



Chattanooga Zoo

The Chattanooga Zoo is Chattanooga, Tennessee. The zoo is broken up into different areas. The is the Corcovado Jungle, Gombe Forest, Makazi Ya Twiga, Deserts & Forests, Walkin' the Tracks and Warner Park Ranch. There is also a petting zoo for children. The Chattanooga Zoo is quaint in size, but don't miss out on giraffes and jaguars!

Edinburgh Zoo, formerly The Scottish National Zoological Park is a non-profit zoo located in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh, Scotland. The Edinburgh Zoo was the first zoo in the world to house and breed Penguins. The highlights of the zoo are the Giant Pandas and the Queensland Koalas.


Marwell Zoo

The Marwell Zoo is located in Hampshire, England. It is home to hundreds of animals including giraffes, tigers and penguins. Don't forget to visit the Snow Leopards, Cheetahs and Hippos. The Paignton Zoo is located in Devon, in  South West, England. The zoo is one of the most exciting attractions in South west. This zoo is the home of a savannah, wetlands and a tropical forest. These special designed habitats will allow the animals from all over the globe feel right at home. The zoo is part of the South West Environmental Park.
